Typical pub fare. Decent and competent without being memorable. Below average servings. Had a very generic but oddly sweet salad served with my rather small calamari. Typical for an Aussie pub barely edible chips.Very basic wine list. Disappointing beer selection without anything local.It just makes it to the right side of average
Didn't realise this cafe existed till last week. This is a wonderful place, excellent food, customer focussed service. Well done .

Worst iced latte I have ever had. It was made from espresso out of a 2L milk jug, not fresh from the machine. Tasted like stale coffee. I couldn't drink it and wouldn't recommend it.
My son and I visited today with our group. The atmosphere, service and food were all exceptional. There was nothing to fault. This is a first class restaurant without the expected prices, and serving sizes were very generous, so much so that we had to bring home the rest ( it was much too delicious to leave behind). Owner Bhati went above and beyond to make sure that our big party had a wonderful time. Although it is way out of our local area, we hope to come back very soon. 10/10 doesn't do it justice. Very highly recommended.
Dining area very noisy suggest putting carpet on floor to absorb the noise. Not enough front of house staff. One person taking orders and getting drinks. We waited 10 mins in a cramped area to place orders. Meals came out in a timely manner. Can someone please teach chefs/cooks how to cook crumbed prawns. I had the seafood platter with 3 prawns that were overcooked. Ate one it was dry and chewy. Rest of platter was good. Made a complaint to staff and was offered a free drink as a way of compensation which I refused as I don't want free drinks I just want to have a good meal which is cooked right. We pay good money so we expect good food. Not sure if I will return.

We had a wonderful array of meals as takeaway last night, and everything was faultlessly delicious. The only issue we had was my husband, trying to eat his fantastic tasting schnitzel, complaining that he was too distracted by the delicious smell of the satay chicken our son was eating next to him! Great variation on this menu - we will definitely return.
We had one of the best breakfasts here today. The big Breakfast and eggs Bacon Benny was outstanding.
Came in on for a nice breakfast, and left very satisfied. Server was very nice and food was great too, will be back and also left a cheeky tip because I know how hard it is in the small business industry at times, cheers guys
Atlantic Salmon meal; a meal that Gordon Ramsay would be proud of. A bowl of chips, probably the best in SA.

6 of us went for lunch last Sunday.We all had different choices of meals and they were all 5 star.I had the best lasagne I have ever had and that is saying something.

Great meals. Had the Chicken Mee Goreng and open Lamb Yiros as takeaway. Both were a good size at a good price and tasted really good too.
Went to the place with my friends, nice place with quality food and really good scenic view on of the moonta bay jetty. The staff there were very friendly and provide exceptional customer service.I really recommend this place to be visited with family and friends.
My wife and i had a meal for her birthday. I had the porterhouse of the specials board 28.90 decently priced perfectly cooked and my wife had the salmon which she gives a 9/10.. very happy with everything...

Terrible customer service, elderly woman behind the counter has no customer service skills at all. Too busy trying to cut me off and run back to kitchen every 2 mins. Will not be back again.

Terrible! Went with two others. All 3 coffees were disgusting. All 3 meals (all different) were depressing, sloppy, greasy and overpriced! Would not recommend to anyone! No wonder we were the only group there at 9am on a stellar day. Would give 0/5 stars if possible.
Food was terrible vermicelli salad had very scarce noodles at all and was so greasy for some reason, inedible. I couldnt stomach it and gave the feedback and no offer to compensate at all. Total waste of money. Same goes with the satay chicken. just another version of the same chicken with some different sauce on top. Would not recommend.
Asian Noodle Salad with mint, corriander, crispy shallots and rice noodles and dressing is in fact Changs crispy noodle salad with carrot and cabbage. No mint and half a sprig of coriander for garnish. No dressing. It was as boring and inedible as hell. Coffee is borderline acceptable. Very sad, unlikely to return.

The best part of this Cafe is the fabulous view of the coast through windows along the whole wall.The food is mediocre but premium priced. Nothing terrible, but uninspired:The main flavour in my beef burger was caramelised onion, the fish batter was a bit oily, and the fried rice was drenched in double the reasonable amount of soy sauce.
The name did not match the aesthetic. Beachside Carpark Cafe is more descriptive.
In my experience a platter comprises of a combination of fresh and fried food and a basket comprises of all deep fried food. I ordered a seafood platter with the expectation that some would be grilled, fried and fresh but what I got as all deep fried. It wasn't awful but I also couldn't eat much of the dish because I have a medical condition that restricts foods I can eat so I left feeling hungry and $140 short.
Lovely cafe with an excellent range of meals. If you like you coffee strong then go the double shot. Friendly service.
The brushetta is an absolute rip off! 1 peice of bread for $13 is a joke! It was tasty but I have lefted annoyed and ripped off

Lovely friendly service and great food. The menu has a lot of good choices and variety. They are open for all meals of the day which is good and are in a wonderful spot overlooking the Moonta Bay Jetty and beach.
I ordered crumbed prawns- beautiful! Dad had butter chicken- beautiful! Mum had salt and pepper squid- yummy! Even the chips and salad that comes with meals was YUM!!! Great service, friendly people. Bit chilly here at night (in Winter) sitting near a window, but bring a jacket and you’ll be fine! Lovely place we will definitely be back!
Superb restaurant with an amazing view. Situated just beside the Moonta Bay Jetty. Very clean. Huge variety of breakfast items were available. Food was delicious. Coffee tastes very good. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Highly recommend this place!
Really good breakfast and real coffee, no Latte art but the taste and lovely service made up for it. There is also a playground and a nice beach right there.
Really tasty dinner and friendly service at Ye Old Cafe.I particularly recommend the Satay chicken with fried rice - good size portion and fairly authentic flavour. We also ate the seafood basket, chicken roulade, kid's chicken nuggets and potato wedges - no issues with any of them.Our waitress was very helpful and made some recommendations of places to visit during our stay in Moonta.
Best butter chicken in the Yorke Peninsula. Very tasty lamb yiros special today too. Lovely staff doing their best on Day 1. Good luck all, we'll be back.

Visited this business for the second time in three months and both times we were very satisfied with our experience. The food was great as was the service. The new owners have only added more to this venue than was there before: the range on the menu is amazing and the pricing is reasonable. Food quality and presentation is of a high standard and the coffee was also good. Well done to the owners…keep it up, I’ll definitely be returning there soon.
The third time we have dined in this establishment since having moved into the general area and we have not been disappointed. The food is superb and the service is friendly and courteous. If you're driving through Minlaton and looking for a good feed and good old fashioned country service, I recommend stopping in here. Their menu is quite varied and there is a large selection to satisfy all tastes. I must also add that their coffee is very nice too, definitely will dine here when I'm next in the area!
Beautiful food and great service. We ended up going there twice during our stay on the Yorke Peninsula and both times our food was delicious. Will definitely be going back.
We dropped in to the Cafe on a mid Saturday morning for an early lunch.Five of us sat and checked out the menu.The wide range of food on offer was surprising. I did wonder how so many different foods can be catered for in one establishment.I need not worry. We ordered Fish and chips, 2 Hamburgers and chips, Chicken satay with salad and Thai curry. All the food was sensational and most unexpected in its presentation and quality. We had coffee milkshakes to top off the meal. At this point it was about 12.15 pm and the shop was full of people. Probably 20 persons seated while some others were ordering at the counter.I talked with the Chef and passed on my congratulations for serving us a brilliant, unexpected and delightful meal. He did say that his mission was to serve food of high quality that cannot be sourced from other venues in the near vicinity.I told him we were very impressed, and we will come back on our next visit.A must do for all who enjoy food.5 Stars for sure
